Mix hot water with mustard powder before gargling to help clean out the infection-causing germs in the tonsils. Another gargle solution is the fenugreek seeds mixture. Prepare this by heating the fenugreek seeds with hot water water. Before gargling, let the mixture to cool down first.

Another simple-to-make natural home remedy for tonsillitis is heated milk with a pinch of turmeric powder. Turmeric is a natural remedy for tonsil inflammation because of its anti-bacterial and anti-viral components. If you don't like drinking milk, you can just prepare a paste mixture by mixing turmeric roots with hot water. Apply the mixture around your throat externally.

Drinking hot teas with honey and vegetable juices are likewise helpful as tonsillitis cure. The important thing during your recuperation is to stay away from irritants like smoking cigarettes. Also, stay hydrated always. Drink ice-cold drinks to numb the throat and alleviate the pain.
