Brian Adams, DDS
Dr. Adams is one of the most highly esteemed dentists in the Southern California area. He is an expert at
creating picture perfect restorations that can repair even the most damaged
smiles, as well as performing many cosmetic procedures to improve the appearance. The most distinguishing
fact however is that he has been
working with developmentally disabled patients
for more than 20 years. This experience
is matched almost nowhere
in the dental community, because many dental schools offer no specific training
for dealing with these unique individuals. After years of working at conventional practices, Dr. Adams saw
that these offices were unprepared and unequipped for special needs patients, and he knew there was a definite need for a facility like Diamond Bar Surgery Center. Today he maintains his passion to see that all his patients are treated with the utmost respect and afforded the latest
innovations in dentistry.
Doctors
All the staff physicians at Diamond Bar Surgery Center are registered medical doctors who have been practicing for at least 20 years each. We are prepared to meet the needs of almost any condition as we have internists as well as cardiologists available. Our doctors are efficient, yet thorough, in their evaluation of each patient because they realize that each patient’s case will vary greatly. They are also each specially trained to work with special needs and have excellent relationships with their patients.
Anesthesiologist
On our staff are board certified anesthesiologists as well as nurse anesthetists. These doctors have vast experience working with our clientele, and have the experience and training necessary to calm even the most nervous patient, all while assuring their safety and health. The medication used is via a LMA (laryngeal mask airway). This allows our patients to spend the least amount of time under anesthesia, thus greatly reducing the risk of complications.
Nursing Staff
Our nursing staff is second to none, and they are a vitally crucial part in the operation of Diamond Bar Surgery Center. They assist in preparing patients for procedures as well as performing portions of routine cleanings. From the time the patient walks into our office, through the process of having their dental work completed, our nursing staff is there to attend to each patient’s specific needs. They have experience working with developmentally disabled patients, and will provide them with the best possible care.
