Mix together a tablespoon of oatmeal powder, a single egg white and a few drops of lemon oil. Lemon oil can be found in most natural or homeopathic stores or in the organic section of your grocery store. Oatmeal powder can be made by grinding up the oatmeal you have on hand. You shouldn't use the instant kind for this, though. Be sure to mix the ingredients together completely, especially important since you're using egg in this mixture. Then spread the mixture on your face, being careful to avoid your eyes.

Now cleanse your skin as usual. Clean your neck too. Spread the mixture onto your cleaned face and neck. Take care that you do not get any of the mixture in your eyes. This mixture will work best if you leave it on for up to half an hour. Before you wash your face, remove the mixture with a warm damp cloth.

Combine a fourth cup of oatmeal, a fourth cup of almonds, a tablespoon of cornstarch, and a tablespoon of chamomile tea for the next recipe. Place the mixture into glass jars after blending them together in a blender or a food processor. To use, place a couple teaspoons of the mixture on your hand and form a paste with a bit of water. Then using soft circular motions, spread the mixture on your face with your fingers. After you've spread it across your whole face (except your eyes), rinse your face clean with some warm water and a fresh soft wash cloth.

If you have particularly dry skin, you can use this recipe. Use a tablespoon of dry oatmeal to massage your skin first. Next mash a ripe banana with a couple ounces of plain yogurt and apply. Avoid the eyes as you spread this evenly over your skin. Let it sit there for about twenty minutes or so and then rinse it off with clean water (preferably warm).

These are just a few of the oatmeal facial recipes that you can use to give yourself clean, clear and beautiful skin. Would you spend hundreds of dollars on something you can get in your own kitchen? You really shouldn't.
